  2. FINALLY ...! It is so nice to find somebody else thinking/fishing like I do ... In regards to the article implied, combine the IMX or GLX Gloomis 7’6” Med/fast rod with Shimano Spirex front drag SR-2500 can do just about any fishing situation...
    I have been purchasing Shimano fishing equipment for 30+ years. And even though I prefer to purchase American made equipment you cannot argue with Shimano’s quality or wide range of models available for every budget.
    Shimano needs to let me redesign/refresh the Spirex line of reels. I have only purchased and used 14 different Spirex reels in the past 18 years so I know what I am talking about when it comes to Shimano Spirex spinning reels.
